Jon 03/03/2010 The meat is awesome! And they cook their wings all the way through, rather than blanching them, so they're guaranteed to be hot and fresh. Great service!

I don't understand why people say the sauces are the best in the city... I've only been there once, but all the sauces I tried had sort of a ginger aftertaste, which made them taste more or less the same. It was also very runny.

If I go again and the sauce is better, I'd give them a 4.

I'd much rather go to Smitty's, Triple B's or Pony Corral.

Reese 05/11/2009 Best wings in Winnipeg! Better than Smitty's! Plus, you can get them to go if you can't finish... unlike smitty's. My fave wings: Asian Sesame (equivalent to Sweet Chili), and Suicide (get this with ranch on the side, warning HOT!!). Winnipeg Rocks! and so does Winnipegwings.com!

JD 06/04/2009 I have been going here quite a bit the last couple of months. Trust me, it’s seems like after the renovations the wings got way better!

Wings were crispy and above average size. The sauces are excellent. I rate their “5 pepper” sauce is probably one of the best in Winnipeg. It is something everybody has to try sometime. The quality of meat was amazing, the wings were cooked perfectly.

As for the service, it was pretty good. The staff was very nice, quick and got the food and drinks out in a reasonable timeframe. The place has a couple good beers on tap with decent prices.

Overall, I highly recommend this place. I like a lot because it never “gets packed”, which means great service and no waiting. This would be probably my favourite wing spot in Winnipeg right now. They literally have the special almost everyday!!!

Matt W 02/04/2009 The wings are 'wing night' sized, about the size of Smitty's wings. But that's where the similarity to Smitty's ends. The wings we got were HOT (temperature-wise) and the sauces were dee-lish. Hands down, Tony's has the best sauces in the city. 39c on Wednesdays and 49c most other days. The suicide weren't very suicidal, but the honey garlic were ACTUALLY garlic-y. I recommend.

AMAZING! alot of meat, and very good flavors, since then I've ordered wings at many other restaurants, but Tony Romas still are the best IMO.

Better off with the riblets although they tasted fridge old or frozen. Generous pound for the $$ for both items...won't be going back though too much salt= thumbs down

Mike 04/04/2007 I think there are two different wings you get at TR's. If you get them from the restaurant they are absolutely HUGE, but they are expensive, something like $8-9 per order. They are salty, and not too spicy. Sometimes they are better than others, as sometimes there is very little sauce and it's almost a rub, this is when they're salty and not spicy.
